The Copper State Heritage Museum is very much like a phoenix- out of the dust and sand of the Sonoran desert will emerge a museum that honors the past accomplishments of people. As we grow we will talk more and more about people and progress- the legacy of our heritage. We talk about "from ruins to renaissance" because that heritage comes through the lens of time and the more we know and see, the more we will undertstand. The events of history have not always been kind and honorable but to fully understand that history we must try to walk in the shoes of those who experienced those times. This is about a rich heritage- a time capsule of events that shaped the people and land that tells a compelling story of survival, back-breaking work, beauty, technological improvement, and a fisty little city that keeps fighting.
That is why we are especially happy to find new volunteers who share our commitment to doing good in the world. Do you want to support us by helping with our work? Then do not hesitate to contact us. A helping hand is always greatly appreciated!
